Originally from California’s Bay Area, Alex Young is currently Toronto-based. He is pursuing a career as a still-life photographer while working as a freelance lighting assistant. Alex’s work shows a strong interest in graphics and advertising and he photographs objects with a focus on framing and simplicity. His still lifes use tonality and composition to create clean imagery with a strong emphasis on balance and texture.
